As humans continue to move more and more into cities we are loosing our understanding of the effect we are having upon the world around us. We are becoming isolated from it, yet the reality is we are connected, it is a part of us.
Story
It is the greatest challenge that humanity has ever faced. Can Eve change the world? Or is she too small to make a difference? A passionate inner-city climate activist discovers the value of nature from the inspirational caretaker of a community garden. When a corporation bulldozes the garden, she embarks on a mission to transform the nature of value.Using revolutionary motion-capture techniques and created as a carbon neutral production, ROOTS is a ‘Pixar-level’ animated short film set to be released in 2025.
Production
The film is the result of thousands of hours of dedicated work, with every stage crafted to reflect our commitment to sustainability. From using recycled materials for set design to ensuring eco-friendly catering on set, every effort was made to minimize our environmental impact.
The animation combines motion capture with meticulously crafted keyframe facial animation, creating an authentic and emotionally resonant experience.
Our narrative is grounded in extensive research, developed in collaboration with environmental specialists to ensure the message is accurate, responsible, and respectful of the complexities involved in tackling the ecological crisis through collective community action.
